Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions before you buy? We've got answers. Browse the topics below to learn everything you need to know about our e-bikes and e-scooters.
🔋 Range & Battery Life
How far can I ride on a single charge?
Range varies by model, rider weight, terrain, and assist level. Most of our e-bikes offer a range of 20–60 miles per charge, while our e-scooters typically deliver 15–40 miles. Check each product page for the specific range estimate for that model.
What affects my range?
Several factors influence how far you can go on a charge: rider weight, hills and terrain, wind resistance, tire pressure, assist level selected, and temperature. Riding on flat ground at a moderate assist level will maximize your range.
How long does the battery last before it needs replacing?
Our lithium-ion batteries are rated for 500–800 charge cycles, which typically translates to 3–5 years of regular use. Battery capacity gradually decreases over time, similar to a smartphone battery.
⚡ Charging
How long does it take to fully charge?
Charging times vary by model and battery size. Most of our e-bikes take 4–8 hours for a full charge, while e-scooters typically charge in 3–6 hours. We recommend charging overnight for convenience.
Can I charge at a standard wall outlet?
Yes! All of our e-bikes and e-scooters come with a charger that plugs into a standard 110V household outlet. No special wiring or charging station is required.
Is it safe to leave the battery charging overnight?
Our chargers include automatic shutoff when the battery reaches full charge, making overnight charging safe. However, we recommend not charging in extreme temperatures and always using the included charger.
⚖️ Weight & Rider Limits
What is the maximum rider weight?
Most of our e-bikes support riders up to 265–300 lbs, and our e-scooters up to 220–265 lbs. Each product page lists the specific weight capacity for that model. Exceeding the weight limit can affect performance and safety.
How heavy are the bikes and scooters?
Our e-bikes typically weigh between 45–75 lbs, and e-scooters between 25–55 lbs. Weight details are listed on each product page. If portability is important to you, look for models with folding frames.
🔧 Assembly & Setup
Do I need to assemble the bike when it arrives?
Our e-bikes arrive 85–95% pre-assembled. You'll typically need to attach the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and seat — a process that takes most customers 30–60 minutes with basic tools. Detailed instructions and all necessary hardware are included in the box.
What tools do I need for assembly?
Most assembly requires only basic tools: a hex/Allen wrench set and a pedal wrench. These are commonly found in any basic toolkit. Some models include the necessary tools in the box.
Can I have it professionally assembled?
Absolutely. Any local bike shop can assist with assembly. We recommend calling ahead to confirm they work with e-bikes.

🚦 Local Regulations
Are e-bikes and e-scooters street legal?
Laws vary significantly by state, city, and country. In the US, most Class 1 and Class 2 e-bikes (up to 20 mph with pedal assist or throttle) are treated similarly to regular bicycles. E-scooters may require registration or helmets in some areas. We strongly recommend checking your local laws before riding on public roads or paths.
Do I need a license or registration?
In most US states, e-bikes do not require a license or registration. E-scooter rules vary more widely. Always verify with your local DMV or municipality for the most current regulations in your area.
